Bournemouth Beach and Pier

Bournemouth and Poole are seaside resort towns on the south coast of England.

They have been important regional centres for centuries with a variety of tourist attractions such as sandy beaches, various boat trips and visits to Brownsea Island which was once home to Lord Baden-Powell who played his part in the origin of the world's Scout movement.

Poole being around 3 hours commute to London, and poetically referred to as the “town of two halves”, is served by Poole Harbour and lies at the northern end of a long peninsula known as Studland Bay.

The historic maritime centre has been supplemented with modern shopping areas, cafe's and restaurants making the seaside town's a haven for tourists all year round.
