Wow! well where to start with this place. It is absolutely incredible.
Me, my wife, our baby girl and 2 dogs stayed here last week for 5 nights and it was fantastic throughout.
The grounds are probably the prettiest and well kept I have ever seen, their grounds keepers work throughout the day and evening keeping it immaculate. It is set in the stunning Aberdeenshire hills and the views are incredible too.
The hotel itself is an incredibly impressive building, and is both historical, classy and comforting all at the same time. Our room was humongous and well furnished with lovely views of MIther Tap. The bed was super comfortable, we all slept so well.

Received a very warm welcome. It has the most homely pleasant atmosphere. Dog friendly and were very accommodating to my my dogs needs which was greatly appreciated. Very friendly staff. The food….wow it was amazing! I had the roast turkey dinner and my husband had the fish and chips and it was the best meal out we have had in ages. 5 stars is not enough. I would give it 10 stars. Would fully recommend and will certainly be back.

Absolutly wonderful from the moment we arrived to the moment we sadly left, a brilliant hyper dog-friendly lodge, a wonderful venue and fabulous staff. We were there for our wedding anniversary, my husband booked a dog-friendly room which was huge, bubbles and chocolates on arrival. Doggie treats and food bowls in the room for the furry kids, the bar is also dog friendly, loved the fact that wellies are provided to take the pups for a walk, lots of dog treats about and all the staff so lovely. The food was amazing We couldn't rate this place highly enough.

Some hotels say they are dog friendly, by which all the mean is they allow dogs in. At Maryculter they go out of their way to make pooches welcome, with big comfy dog beds included in the rooms. It's an added bonus too that the dog friendly rooms have patio doors leading straight to the garden making the bed time wee easy, no traipsing through the hotel in jammies before bed.
