Oxford is a city in England, with an estimated population of about 161,000. It is the county town of Oxfordshire and it's situated on the River Thames. Oxford's medieval history goes back over 1,000 years and was known as Oxnaford in Anglo-Saxon times. The University of Oxford is one the most famous universities in the world with over 10 Nobel Prize winners among its former students and staff members, 28 prime ministers and numerous literary figures.

The city of Oxford is a beautiful place to live and work. It's home to many historical landmarks including the iconic Christ Church College, as well as Blenheim Palace, one of the largest country houses in England. There are plenty of parks and gardens to enjoy, as well as a lively arts and music scene. Oxford is also well served by public transport, with excellent bus and rail links to other parts of the country.
